Symptoms
- Resend OTP does nothing
- OTP arrives very late
- OTP goes to the other SIM
Likely causes
- Wrong number entered
- Carrier SMS filtering / DND
- Dual-SIM default SMS SIM mismatch
- Temporary provider delay
Fix steps
- Confirm the number and SIM receiving SMS.
- Disable DND / SMS blockers temporarily.
- Wait 2 to 3 minutes before repeated resends.
- Switch network (data vs Wi-Fi does not carry SMS; switch SIMs if needed).
- Try again off-peak if the carrier is congested.
Prevention
- Register with your primary long-term number
- Keep SMS app defaults stock during signup
OTP issues are usually carrier or dual-SIM problems, not a broken APK. Fix reception first, then resend.
